Jenna and Matt were such an amazing couple to work with. Hired to do both photography and videography for their wedding, we worked together to make the very best of the day. Our last wedding for this year, Mark and I took it on and could NOT have had more fun. Millennial Falls is such a beautiful place to hold a wedding, they have a gorgeous garden outdoors with a massive waterfall as a backdrop. Sadly it was a little too cold to hold the wedding outdoors, not to mention it being too dark for pictures to turn out very well. Jenna’s brother, a proud United States Marine took the lead and married his sister to her best friend Matt. Flanked by their closest friends, Matt and Jenna shared tear filled vows as they were united as husband and wife. She was so sweet, but definitely knew what she wanted. She knew she wanted photos outside, regardless of how cold it was, the couple pushed through it. They froze their buns off for 30 minutes or so as we worked our magic to get some unique photo and video.
Matt is such a kind soul, with a care free disposition. Everyone gathered around to watch the magic as the couple took to the floor for their first dance, and as the toasts were shared. At one point I saw Mark being pulled out to the floor to dance with Jenna, I didn’t realize that it would be my turn shortly after. She demanded that I put my camera down and share a dance with her, and dance I did! The couple was so gracious to all of their vendors, very grateful for everything. There are times when you come across people in your life that really make you grateful for what you do, Jenna and Matt were absolutely that couple.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from their wedding as well as their wedding highlight video.
