Tori and Bronson have known each other for years. The’ve known for a long time that they wanted to get hitched. It all started when they were both at BYU. For weeks he would ask her out but she would decline politely. Refusing to give up on spending time with her, he asked her again, this time she finally said yes! They dated a while, but then they took a break so they could each serve an LDS mission’s that was what was most important to them. A lot of couples who do this don’t end up together, they typically drift apart while they’re gone. But for Tori and Bronson, that was not an option.

Fast forward to August 2019 when Tori returned from her mission where she was met with open arms by not only family and friends, but the guy that she had blown off years ago was ready to rekindle what they had put on pause for 2 years. Bronson knew that he wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with her. Their time apart was excruciating for both of them, but well worth the wait. He popped the question just about than 2 months after her arrival back home, and of course how could she say no to the silly guy who stole her heart long ago, when he wouldn’t take no for an answer.

The couple decided to get married on the most romantic day of the year (let the arguments commence). It was such a joy to spend a couple hours with the couple shooting their engagement photos. He felt “awkward”, but all that awkwardness melted away when he peered into her eyes. It was as though they had an unspoken bond that only the two of them were a part of.

Tori was so proud to call Bronson her own, it was absolutely adorable! His last name translates to Field of Summer, and that is right where we were for their engagement shoot, I mean, kind of. It was a field, and it was summer last week right? I overheard a conversation between the couple, “I like your name so much I thought I’d take it for myself” Tori said. So very much in love they are. If this photo shoot was anything like what can be expected for their wedding day, I am thrilled to be their wedding photographer!
